Sandbar Grill, where the vibe's a breeze, Beachfront dining puts you at ease. Fresh seafood shines, the menu's a treat, Blackened mahi made my meal complete. Veggies and yellow rice - local flair, A laid-back spot to pull up a chair!

Shhhh! Sandbar Grill is a small, beachside, practically hidden restaurant in the Sun Tower Hotel on N Ocean Drive in Fort Lauderdale. I've only been a couple of times for breakfast and it's really good. Excellent eggs Benedict, spinach and feta omelets, crispy potatoes, and great bloody Mary's. You would miss it if you didn't know where you going, as it's tucked away behind the lobby of a small hotel. And it's right on the beach. Great way to start a day of soaking up the sun! But don't tell anyone!

I love this place. We stay at the hotel and the sandbar is a great place to meet our needs. Not always perfect but when it's right, it's great! Last night for example, the mahi tacos were so fresh and yummy! I can't stop thinking about them! Service is always good. And you certainly cannot beat the location right on the waters edge.

I've eaten here many times but last night was the best food I've ever had here. We stay in the hotel and when we visit, we sometimes get breakfast lunch or dinner. Last night we shared the mahi tacos that were SO good, so fresh yet so simple. Delicious!! We also shared the shrimp skewers. Also very good. Great atmosphere right on the beach. Service always good.

We did not eat at the sandbar grill but we came for drinks while on the beach. Very friendly & very clean. Perfect for that stretch of beach it's located on. 5 stars.

We went on a Sunday for lunch. You can park and leave keys at front hotel desk. Parking is free in hotel parking spot. They have a bar area that is half inside and outside. The dining tables are all outside. We ordered a burger and MAHI tacos. Everything was tasty. They each came with a choice of chips, fries, or sweet potato fries. One of the best views along Ft Lauderdale beach.

I'm so happy our Airbanb was close by, and Google recommended this restaurant. We got there just in time to see the sunset. It did get pretty cold after, and the restaurant did not have any heat lamps outside. We started with strawberry margaritas and the coconut shrimp. The margarita was really tasty, but the shrimp was beyond good. They were so big and crunchy, and the dipping sauce was the perfect bonus. For entrees, my friend ordered the shrimp scampi, and I had the New York strip. I can't put into words how delicious this food was! The flavor and seasoning of the shrimp scampi was wild. The shrimp was huge and filled with so much meat. My steak was cooked to perfection (medium). The vegetable medley in the side was seasoned so well, and the baked potato was huge and covered in toppings. The food was so good and priced so low. Our server was very attentive and nice. We even asked him to tell the chef how wonderful the food was, and the chef came out to thank us. So thank you to Chef Rasta for a great meal. I will forever go back here when in Ft. Lauderdale again..
